  1. Accountability Impact Summit
    District and campus leaders will convene at this summit to deepen their understanding of the accountability system and engage in sessions focused on evidence-based, student-centered best practices. Using accountability data released in August, attendees will use their data to identify session aligned with strategic decision-making aimed at improving student achievement and school performance. The summit also offers valuable opportunities for networking and professional collaboration, allowing leaders to exchange insights and strengthen their leadership strategies. By fostering meaningful dialogue and practical knowledge-sharing, the event empowers educational leaders to take informed action and lead continuous improvement efforts in an evolving accountability landscape.

  2. Child Nutrition Summer Workshop Day 2 - July 31, 2025
    Join fellow child nutrition professionals at this annual event to attend training sessions related to managing compliant school nutrition programs.  Receive updates and guidance on operating the National School Lunch, School Breakfast and After School Care Programs to comply with federal and state guidelines.  Professional standards credits will be provided to help meet annual training requirements. Participants may choose from a variety of interactive training sessions on the second day, July 31, 2025.

  3. Assistant Principal Conference
    This conference provides an opportunity for assistant principals to access relevant  professional development related to their areas of responsibility, including a space to  network with colleagues and hear updates on current educational topics.

  5. Access to the General Curriculum (AGC) Conference

    Join education professionals for this exciting annual conference as we explore evidence-based practices for creating effective learning environments for all learners. The Access to General Curriculum (AGC) Conference provides expertise and networking support to help students access academic content and achieve rigorous state assessment standards, as well as navigate federal and state accountability systems, create 21st-century digital learning environments, increase student engagement, and implement effective practices for students with disabilities in the general education classroom. Participants will leave the conference with practical strategies to promote access to and progress in the general curriculum. 

    Session and materials costs are partially funded through state or federal grants.  

     


  6. Digital Learning Conference

    Transform your classroom- the Digital Way! Identify ways to engage your students, improve performance, and digitize your classroom with the latest tools and techniques your students will love. The Digital Learning Conference features sessions by and for educators and other professionals whose first priority is student learning. Learn how to leverage digital resources for instructional integration. Participants will walk away with practical techniques that can quickly be implemented in the classroom. Lunch will be provided.

  7. Early Childhood Special Education Collaboration Conference
    This multi-day conference is designed to support teachers who are working with young children with disabilities. Conference sessions will cover a variety of topics including; utilizing best practices to support specially designed instruction, language and communication, literacy, math, improving social and behavioral skills, and much, much more. Participants will gain information, strategies, and materials that will support service delivery to young children with disabilities in various classroom settings. Session and materials costs are partially funded through state or federal grants. You must be in attendance to receive the conference materials.

  8. Region 4 Dyslexia Conference (HYBRID)
    This annual conference, to be held virtually and face-to-face, features various sessions in relation to dyslexia, including research, response to intervention, assessment, accommodations, legal issues, and much more. The goal of the conference is to bring current and practical information to a diverse audience of teachers, reading specialists, interventionists, speech language pathologists, diagnosticians, administrators, and others.

  9. Region 4 Dyslexia Conference (HYBRID)
    This annual conference, to be held virtually and face-to-face, features various sessions in relation to dyslexia, including research, response to intervention, assessment, accommodations, legal issues, and much more. The goal of the conference is to bring current and practical information to a diverse audience of teachers, reading specialists, interventionists, speech language pathologists, diagnosticians, administrators, and others.

  10. Region 4 Social Studies Conference
    Join other social studies professionals in this one-day conference exploring general, grade level, and content-specific best practices for the 21st century social studies classroom. Strands may include the major themes in social studies, instructional strategies that address the needs of all learners, differentiation, technology applications, and sound assessment. The conference will include a full day of concurrent presentations, vendor product demonstrations, and an exhibit hall.

  11. Signing Exact English (SEE) Skillshop

    This week-long workshop for adult learners is designed to meet the needs of beginning as well as advanced users of Signing Exact English.  Participants will improve their expressive and receptive signing skills, sign vocabulary, visual features of sign language, and song and storytelling techniques.  All skill levels will be addressed through intensive work in level-matched small groups.  Recent research findings on the effectiveness of Signing Exact English will also be presented. Session materials and costs are partially funded through state or federal grants.

    As a result of this presentation, the participant will be able to:

    1. Demonstrate beginner, intermediate, or advanced signing skills at the conclusion of the Skillshop through a small group 'performance' of their skills.

    2. Discuss the benefits of Signing Exact English for the development of English syntax and vocabulary for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

    3. Identify the visual features of sign language that correspond to grammar and semantics of the English language.

    4. Apply the principles and techniques of SEE to song and storytelling.
